Within fifteen minutes of leaving Bach Dang pier, the city skyline gives way to lush jungle and quiet riverbank life. Your English-speaking guide brings the journey to life with stories of the river and the people who live along it, while you relax with refreshments on deck.

At the tunnels you step into the remarkable underground world the Viet Cong built and used through years of conflict: weapon and booby-trap exhibitions, cleverly disguised entrances, and the kitchens, meeting rooms and ammunition bunkers hidden below. Crawl through an authentic section, gently enlarged for comfort, yet still a powerful glimpse of life underground. An optional firing range is on site for those who wish to try it.

Afterwards, unwind by the river with a traditional Vietnamese lunch and free-flowing beer, wine and soft drinks before the catamaran carries you smoothly back to Saigon.
